Project Overview
The CIP Airport Platform is the first digital system in Iran designed to streamline VIP airport services, including lounge access, fast-track, meet & greet, wheelchair support, and additional add-ons. The product was launched at Tehran IKA, Mehrabad, and Shiraz airports, enabling passengers to easily browse services, compare prices, and complete reservations online—while airport staff receive real-time operational updates through a dedicated inventory dashboard.

Challenge
For years, CIP services in Iran relied entirely on offline workflows:
No digital product existed in the market
Booking was done manually through phone calls
No clear information about services, pricing, or availability
High error rates in communication between passengers and CIP staff
Difficulty coordinating VIP passengers requiring privacy and security
Staff had to transition from a fully offline process to a modern system
This created a fragmented, inefficient experience for both travelers and airport teams.
Solution
We designed a unified platform that digitizes the entire CIP service lifecycle:
Online booking with transparent pricing and add-on selection
A complete CIP service inventory across multiple airports
Real-time dashboards for counter staff and managers
Simplified workflows enabling fast onboarding for low-tech staff
Live reservation status updates to reduce errors and miscommunication
Modular design system based on Material 3 (shared with other products)
This system seamlessly connects passengers, counters, supervisors, and airport managers under one cohesive experience.
Desgin Process
Our design approach followed the proven Double Diamond methodology, ensuring a thorough understanding of the problem space before developing innovative solutions.
